Longhorn cattle are prized by the inch

Each year, the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America hosts a horn measuring contest for Texas Longhorn cattle to measure the length of their horns.

This year, the National Public Radio covered the event – here’s the article (click the Listen to the Story link to really get the full effect!)

We have a software called LonghornMax that helps Longhorn breeders keep track of pedigrees, pictures, medical treatments, and of course, horn meaurements!

Congratulations to the Longhorn breeders interviewed in the article – several of them use the LonghornMax software!
