The annual Beef Cattle Short Course at Texas A&M has come and gone. What a great time we all had visiting with everyone!
The CattleMax booth in the trade show area, manned by our customer service representatives, Ken and Nathan, was busy throughout the show.
For the 10th straight year, we’ve attended the Short Course and sponsored the Business Management session. This year, nearly 160 people attended the Business session, making it the most attended session of the morning (it was tough competition with several live cattle demonstrations and CEU credit classes going on at the same time). What a recognition of the importance business has become in ranching – this was the strongest attendance in years. Here’s a copy of the PowerPoint slides I used for my presentation “Becoming a Better Manager through Better Records” in the Business session if you would like to review them.
Then, after the conclusion of the Short Course activities, we hosted a CattleMax hands-on workshop. Some attendees were checking out CattleMax for their record keeping, while others had recently purchased CattleMax, and several had used CattleMax for years. Many good questions were asked and answered during the workshop.
We want to pass on a big THANK YOU to all who attended the workshop and came by our booth at the Short Course.
Your support is certainly appreciated!
